This powerful tool simplifies the process of managing client portfolio industry professionals on CapIntel. In this article, we will guide you through the steps required to optimize the use of this new feature.
Utilizing CSV Upload
Upon logging in to your CapIntel account, navigate to the Start Comparison option. At the bottom of the list, you will find Upload Client Portfolio.
Select Upload Client Portfolio to proceed with the upload of your Excel files. It is essential to ensure that these portfolios adhere to the provided CSV template format, which organizes information in the following order: holdings, exchange, and units.
**For added clarity on the template's order and format, click the Download Template option.**
Once your portfolio is uploaded, you will be directed to the Portfolio Builder. Here, customize the size, select funds for inclusion, set advisory fees, and make any necessary adjustments. Upon configuring your proposal, click "Add to Comparison" when content with your selections.
You will then be redirected to the comparison screen, where you can review portfolio metrics and ensure that they align with your requirements. At this stage, you can also incorporate any additional portfolios you wish to include in your comparison. Once your comparison is finalized, it can be exported into a PDF format, much like any other proposal.
Furthermore, this feature offers the convenience of uploading a CSV portfolio directly from the contact card. To make use of this, simply select the specific contact of interest, navigate to the contact card, and click on Create then choose Upload CSV File.
