ESG Analytics

The ESG Analytics will provide different types of ratings and metrics aimed to measure a company's management of financially relevant ESG risk and opportunities:

  • ESG Ranking is available on the fund level and aims to measure how the fund weighted average ESG score ranks relative to other funds in the same peer group and globally.
  • ESG Ratings provided by MSCI are designed to measure the ESG characteristics of a product's underlying holdings, ranking mutual funds and ETFs from leader (AAA, AA), average (A, BBB, BB) to laggard (B, CCC).
  • Carbon Intensity measures a fund's exposure to carbon intensive companies.
  • Implied Temperature Rise measures a fund's alignment (in °C) to keep the world's temperature rise to 2°C by 2100.
