Overview
In addition to the Performance and Income Stream tabs, Asset managers have an additional Markup tab to help them highlight the data they want to present during a conversation with their clients.
Accessing Markup
Once your products are selected, click the Markup tab on the right of your comparison.
Highlighting Insights
You can now select the markup tools, which are located between the graph and the portfolio cards.
To use a tool, simply click its icon, then click the information you would like to highlight or comment on.
You can still edit your comment before posting it by clicking the line where you added it.
Sharing Your Insights
Once you've completed your markup and are ready to share with your client, you can then click Share to send off your comparison.
Please ensure that you save your comparison before sharing to avoid encountering an error message prompt.
Once saved, you can either share a link via email, or directly over the CapIntel platform. If you choose to share over CapIntel, a form will appear for you to fill out.
Sharing via CapIntel also gives your client with a quick intro to the platform, and help you keep track of your conversations using the Markup feature.
If you opt for the alternative choice, you can simply copy the link provided in your email and share it with your client or colleague. This link will grant them access to the completed comparison.
