CapIntel allows users to enhance their comparisons by adding models. These can include user-created portfolios or, for enterprise users, models developed and shared by their organization.
Please note that some interface changes that you see in the article as illustrations of the feature may not currently be available in your environment.
Access the Comparison Screen
Upon accessing CapIntel, navigate to the comparison, either through opening an existing comparison or creating a new comparison with fund(s) or portfolio(s).
Locate the Load Icon
The Load icon is located in the top right corner of the line graph of the comparison screen.
Define Product List to Browse
Upon clicking the Load icon, two options are available:
- Existing Client Portfolio: Use this option to retrieve portfolios that have already been created and saved for your client.
- Existing Model Portfolio: Select this option to access model portfolios, including those you've created yourself and, for enterprise users, models provided by your organization.
Select Portfolios and Add to Comparison
In the newly opened window, you’ll find tools to help you locate the exact model that fits your needs. The primary tool is the search bar, which allows you to search for a model by name.
Additionally, you can refine your results using the category filter, which lets you choose between:
- All Models: Displays every available model.
- My Models: Shows only the models you’ve personally created.
- Enterprise's Models: Includes models provided by your organization (available to enterprise users).
Choose the relevant portfolio(s) or model(s) to include in your comparison. You can select multiple items at once, allowing them to be loaded simultaneously into the comparison view.
Review Added Models or Portfolios
Once you've added the selected portfolios or models, they will appear below the graph. This layout enables a direct comparison across all available metrics and visualizations, making it easier to analyze performance and composition side by side.
